Distribution of 125 umbrellas to Mai De Deus Higher Primary School, Puttur was held at the school auditorium. The correspondent, Rev Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, Director Mr J.P. Rodrigues, Vice-President of Parish Council, Mr Jerald Dcosta, Branch Manager, Mrs Irene J.Dsouza and the Headmistress, Mrs Janet Dsouza were on dias.

All the teachers and students were present during the distribution of umbrellas. Out of 750 students 125 poor students were listed to receive the umbrella on behalf of MCC bank. The headmistress was overwhelmed and thanked the chairman Sahakara Ratna Mr Anil lobo and all the Directors for their generosity and concern towards the poor children for having received for the first time from one of the reputed banks from Mangalore.

Mr J.P. Rodrigues, Director of the bank spoke on behalf of MCC Bank which is helping not only the poor students but also major sick people, constructing house, marriage etc.

The Branch Manager thanked the correspondent, director, headmistress and all the teachers for their selfless support. The students were also called to inform their parents to cooperate with our bank.
